To our valued community, volunteers, fair-goers, supporters/partners/vendors/participants and friends

Out of an abundance of caution and with heavy hearts, we, the Board of Directors of the Stormont Agricultural Society have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Stormont County Fair – scheduled for Labour Day Weekend in September. The decision was not an easy one to make, but due to the current world circumstances and the ever-changing threat of the COVID-19 virus we feel it is our responsibility to do everything possible to avoid risk to you, the community and the many fair-goers who would be visiting Newington and Stormont County. The health and safety of our fair-goers, volunteers, supporters/partners/vendors/participants, friends and the broader community is our priority. We wish you good health – and hope to see you all again in 2021 on Labour Day Weekend. Follow our social media posts for potential activities throughout the year.
